Snow Lady Doll
I’d like you to meet Crystal, my Winter Snow Lady. Crystal is 14” tall. She is made from three round muslin balls that have been stuffed firmly then painted stained and sanded. She is mounted on a round wooden base so she can be displayed nicely. Chrystal’s facial features have been painted using acrylics and pencils then I’ve sealed her to prevent fading. I sculpted her carrot nose out of clay, and then dusted it with glass glitter.
Crystal is wearing a gorgeous blue gown. I’ve trimmed her bodice with vintage lace and vintage style silver tinsel garland. I’ve made her hat out of matching cotton fabric that has been stiffened to hold its shape then sprinkled it with lots of German glass glitter to resemble snow. I trimmed it with silver tinsel garland and embellished it with a glittery silver star.
Cristal is holding a gold star made from painted muslin. It is mounted on a painted dowel stick, and then trimmed with silver tinsel garland.
I’ve finished Crystal off with an antique holiday ornament and vintage picture tag that has been decorated with more glass glitter.

Holiday Angel Doll
I’d like you to meet Heather, my Christmas Angel.
Heather is 20” tall and she has a body made from aged osnaburg fabric that has seamed elbows and knees so she can be posed. I’ve painted her head and neck with flesh colored paint, and then I painted her eyes and lips with acrylics and pencils. She has a needle sculpted nose and hands. Her hair is made from hand dyed light brown sheep’s wool that has been needle felted in place with a tiny bit of glue to hold. I’ve attached two small red bows to her hair then attached a wire halo that is wrapped with gold vintage style tinsel garland.
Heather’s dress and pantaloons are made from cotton fabric, and then trimmed with a combination of vintage style lace, and antique lace around her neck line finished with a vintage style button. Heather’s outer skirt is made using a piece of an antique dolls dress to give her a real vintage look. I painted her shoes with antique white acrylic paint then embellished them with rusty bells and ref ribbon bows.
Heather’s wings are made from quilted cotton that has been stiffened then stained. I attached a loop for hanging.
Heather is holding Cardinal that is sitting in a twig nest that I filled with gold tinsel. For the finishing touch, I added a vintage picture tag that has been dusted with gold glitter.
